Nice to Meet You

From the hills of the Ozarks to the big city of Los Angeles, and now in the low country of Charleston, South Carolina, my life (and career!) has been an adventure. Over the past decade-plus, through full-time roles and contract work, I've shaped internal communication strategies for companies of every flavor: scrappy global gaming studios, VC-backed tech companies, and Fortune 500 enterprises.

My experiences have given me a lot of perspective, empathy, and a genuine appreciation for meeting people where they are. I've navigated IPOs, acquisitions, rapid growth, and the quiet work of just keeping a distributed team feeling connected on a Tuesday. All of it has made me a better communicator and a more useful partner to the leaders I work with.

What makes me a little different: I actually enjoy building the systems. Designing an intranet's information architecture, producing a company kickoff from concept to run-of-show, or creating a documentation framework that will outlive any single person's tenure is where I get energized. I pair that operational instinct with a love of storytelling, which means the systems get used because the communications around them are good.

Outside of work, I'm a gardener, a reader, a sticker collector, and completely devoted to my dog, Rory. I drink too much coffee, pick up too many new hobbies, and spend most of my free time dreaming up shenanigans with my two boys and husband. Life is good in the Low Country.
